Adopting Morgan

I am a single mom and I’ve recently adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia. My name is Melanie. I had been to Ethiopia with my friend Stacy in October of 2005 to pick up her daughter Eskedar.....Now it was my turn!!! I met Weldemikael on May 12th, 2007!!!! We arrived home May 19th he was 8 mo. old and soooo tiny and wasn't really using his muscles at all. Stacy and Lucy have both been my inspiration and support during this whole process and are such a large part of Morgan and my life. – It is just amazing to see my son and Lucy in pictures together!!! My journey into single motherhood is challenging, rewarding and oh so worth it!!! My life will never be the same – and wouldn't want it any other way!!! I love you Morgan Weldemikael!!!! This is for you!!!!
